Q. Do I need to make a reservation for my dog?

A. Yes, all incoming pets must first call Crestview Kennel and confirm arrival and departure times.

Q. Can I come and visit the kennel prior to making a reservation?

A. Yes, we encourage new clients to visit our facility. Our visiting hours are: Mon – Sat 8-9 AM, and 5-6 PM. The tour will take approximately 15 minutes, and you will view every area, both inside and out.

Q. How far in advance should I make my reservation?

A. Crestview Kennel is one of the top boarding kennels in Eastern Massachusetts. If you plan to board your dog with us during holiday periods, or school and summer vacation periods, you should make your reservation at least 6 weeks in advance. During normal non holiday or summer vacation periods, you can make your reservation as little as 1 day before your required dates.

Q. Can I confirm my reservation with a credit card by phone?

A. Yes, you will be required to confirm your reservation with a Visa or MasterCard deposit (usually 50% of the total cost).

Q. What is the cancellation period, and will I get my deposit back?

A. All cancellations must be received 7 days prior to your confirmed boarding dates, at which time you will receive a full refund within 5 business days.

Q. Should I bring Food?

A. Yes, we do not like to change the dogs diet because it usually creates some issues, such as belly ache, diarrhea, and refusal to eat. Although it requires more labor on our part to feed individual meals to all the boarders, we feel it will make your pets stay more enjoyable eating a food they like, and are used too. We do not charge extra for this service.

Q. What if my dog it taking a prescribed medication?

A. Our staff is well trained to administer medications, either oral, or injectable, and we do not charge for this service. Each medication should be clearly marked in its original packaging, with the prescribed dose clearly displayed on the container.

Q. Can I (we) call and check on our pet while we are away?

A. Yes, we will welcome your call, and give you a camp report by phone or email.

Q. Do you provide Bathing & Grooming?

A. Bathing ONLY for boarders.
